      1. Voter Hall

Many students hope to be lucky enough to land a Voter suite as upperclassmen housing. From these apartments, a charming spiral staircase rises from the living room to the upstairs singles.

On the lower floors lie the classrooms and offices of the Italian, Arabic, Chinese, and Luso-Hispanic Studies Departments.

You may notice similarities to the nearby former science building, Warner Hall, as Voter was originally built in 1913 to handle the overflow of students enrolling in science programs. As such, Voter was first known as the chemistry building, before being renamed after Perley Voter, a longtime chair of the Chemistry Department.
