While Middlebury students used to swim in the Arthur M. Brown Pool in what is now McCullough Student Center, today students swim in one of the nation’s best D-III swimming facilities.
The Olympic-sized pool hosts Middlebury’s men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams. The pool has 18 lanes—10 with competition timing capabilities—two one-meter diving boards, and two three-meter diving boards.
The pool also hosts a number of Middlebury recreational groups, including the water polo team, logrolling club, kayak rolling with the MIddlebury Mountain Club, and swim lessons.
