Rather than a large grandstand, spectators watch events at the Dragone Track and Field Complex from a natural berm that surrounds the field. From just about any seat on the grass, or anywhere in the facility, you can see the incredible Green Mountains that look over the College.
Within the berm, the men’s and women’s track and field and cross-country teams use the eight-lane 400-meter track. Dual-direction twin long-jumping pits, a pole-vault pit, and throwing vectors also dot the surrounding area.
Within the track is the women’s soccer natural grass pitch. The 20x75-yard surface utilizes a state-of-the-art drainage system to ensure the natural surface is always ready for kickoff.
