On fall Saturdays, as crisp October air fills the campus and sun shines on the ridges of the Green Mountains, Middlebury students, families, and local residents all congregate to cheer on the College football team at the Youngman Field in Alumni Stadium.
Sporting events are where students and community members come together, and the 3,500 seats of Alumni Stadium overlooking the state-of-the-art turf field is no different. Along with football, the field also often hosts MIddlebury lacrosse games.
Outside the stadium, you will find a campus favorite atop a large boulder: the oversized bronze statue of a Middlebury Panther created by Lorenzo Ghiglieri.
