    1. Welcome Center

      The Lobo Welcome Center hosts campus tours for prospective students and families. For more information about campus tours, please go to visit.unm.edu.

    2. UNM Duck Pond

      This popular gathering point for students is the perfect place to study, play or chill. It is home to many turtles, fish and ducks. 

    3. Zimmerman Library

      Zimmerman Library is the largest library in New Mexico, and houses over a million books. The library also has a large computer lab, Starbucks, and private and collaborative study spaces.

      Smith Plaza hosts several events throughout the year, including the iconic Silent Lights party each fall.

    6. Center for the Arts

      The Center for the Arts is home to the College of Fine Arts and several performance halls—including New Mexico's largest multi-purpose venue, Popejoy Hall.

    7. Johnson Center

      Johnson Center was originally built in 1957 but has gone through multiple renovations including the most recent expansion completed in 2019. The gym amenities include weight and cardio areas, multiple basketball and volleyball courts, and an elevated running track. It also includes the Outdoor Adventure Center which runs the Lobo Bike Shop and a rental center for outdoor equipment like paddle boards, skis and camping kits.

      The University of New Mexico Bookstores is proud to be owned and operated by the University of New Mexico.

      Our primary mission is to serve the students, faculty and staff of the University as well as our community customers. We strive to deliver quality products and services to enhance the educational, professional and personal lives of our UNM community.

      The UNM Central Campus Bookstore offers many services such as course materials, supplies, technology, a passport center and market.
