    Stops

    1. Belk Hall

      Belk Residence Hall, named after Mary Irwin Belk.
      • A 132 bed, six-story, predominantly freshmen, co-ed residence hall (separated by floors)
      • Double rooms arranged along a central corridor surround a central bathroom
      • Student rooms air conditioned with a window unit and central air on the first floor
      • All rooms are furnished with twin beds (80″ x 36″ mattresses), desks, desk chair, closets, dressers, and blinds.
      • Wireless Internet and twin data ports
      • Laundry and vending machine access
      • The hours of visitation for Belk Hall and North Hall on Sunday through Thursday shall not exceed 10 a.m. through midnight and 10 a.m. on Friday and Saturday through 2 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Twenty- four hour visitation is permitted in the lobby and first floor lounge area. Hallways, stairways, and upstairs lounges are not considered twenty-four hour visitation areas.
    2. North Hall

      North Residence Hall
      • A 192 bed, six-story, predominantly freshman, co-ed residence hall (separated by floors)
      • Double rooms along a central corridor surround a central bathroom
      • Student rooms air conditioned with a window unit and central air on the first floor
      • All rooms are furnished with twin beds (80″ x 36″ mattresses), desks, desk chair, closets, dressers, and blinds.
      • Wireless Internet and twin data ports
      • Laundry and vending machine assess
      • The hours of visitation for Belk Hall and North Hall on Sunday through Thursday shall not exceed 10 a.m. through midnight and 10 a.m. on Friday and Saturday through 2 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.     3. Pine Residence Hall

      Pine Residence Hall is a four-story, 300-bed, smoke free, co-ed residence hall offering suites of two designs. One design includes 51 suites featuring two double-occupancy bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The second design includes 24 single suites featuring four private bedrooms with a shared living room area and bathroom. Residents are expected to maintain a clean bathroom area, provide the cleaning supplies and toiletries needed for their suite.

      Same gender suites are located throughout each floor of the residence hall.

      Wireless Internet is available and the hall is fully wired for the Internet. Telephone service is not provided in student suites; however, emergency telephone call boxes to Campus Police are provided on each floor. A kitchenette, study lounges on each floor, a lounge with a large screen television, and a laundry and vending area are outstanding features of this residence hall. A security feature includes a card access system for entrance into the building for currently assigned residents and their accompanied guests. (Room size: double: 10 x 16; single: 8 x 12, living room area: 12 x 16)

    4. Oak Residence Hall

      Oak Hall is a four story, 360-bed, smoke-free, co-ed hall offering suites of two designs. One design includes 68 suites featuring two double-occupancy bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The second design includes 22 single suites featuring four private bedrooms with a shared living room area and bathroom. Residents are expected to maintain a clean bathroom area, provide the cleaning supplies and toiletries needed for their suite.

      Same gender suites are located throughout each floor of the residence hall. Students in the Ester G. Maynor Honors College are assigned to Oak Hall and, beginning in Fall 2019, Oak Hall will also house the Leadership Learning Community (LLC).

    5. Courtyard Apartments

      The Courtyard Apartment complex offers six residential buildings (housing 336 students) consisting of twenty-four 2 bedroom/2 bathroom units and seventy-two, 4 bedroom/2 bathroom units.

    6. University Village Apartments

      The University Village Apartments are on-campus apartments managed by the Office of Housing and Residence Life. The Village Apartment complex consists of six air-conditioned buildings and houses 354 students. The apartments feature composite wood flooring (22’5”x13’8”), study alcove (6’10”x10’6”), and the three (3) carpeted double occupancy bedrooms (14’1”x12’6”).

      The living area is furnished with a sofa, 2 chairs, and a round dining table with four dining chairs. Each bedroom is furnished with bunkable beds, 80″ mattress, dresser, built-in closets, study desks, desk chairs, and a full bathroom.

      The kitchen (78.5 s.f.) consists of a stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. The UNCP meal plan is optional for returning students residing in the Village Apartments.

      Utilities included in the housing fee are electricity, central heat/air, water, high-speed internet service, and wireless internet service. Additional services include a live-in Community Director and Resident Advisors, security and law enforcement provided by the UNCP Campus Police, maintenance provided by the Housing Department and Facilities Operation staff, and convenient parking for the residents.

    7. Cypress Residence Hall

      Cypress Hall is a five story, 476 bed, smoke-free, co-ed hall offering 119 four person suites of two designs. One design includes 94 suites featuring two double-occupancy bedrooms while the other design includes 25 suites featuring four single-occupancy bedrooms. In each suite, there is a shared common area and a shared bathroom. Residents are expected to maintain a clean common area and bathroom and provide the cleaning supplies and toiletries needed for their suite. Same gender suites are located throughout each floor of the residence hall.
