On September 1, 2004, Hofstra University dedicated the Libby and Joseph G. Shapiro Alumni House, which serves as a symbol of their loyalty and generosity to Hofstra. The Shapiro Alumni House is home to the Department of Alumni Affairs and hosts numerous alumni programs and meetings throughout the year.
