    1. Nicholson Pavilion

      Sports: Basketball, Volleyball

      Location: 715 E Dean Nicholson Blvd, Ellensburg, WA

      Capacity: 2,519 

      Surface: Maple hardwood

      Built: 1959 (renovated with new floor and bleachers in 2008)

      Named for: Leo Nicholson, former Wildcat coach and athletic director. Nicholson was the men's basketball coach from 1929-64, winning 505 career games. He also coached baseball and football over the course of his career at Central Washington.

    4. Tomlinson Staduim

      Sports: Football, Soccer, Rugby

      Location: 1610 N Walnut St, Ellensburg, WA

      Capacity: 4,000 (permanent), portable seating added as needed for football

      Surface: Artificial Turf

      Built: 1959 (renovated in 2018 with new artificial turf, LED stadium lighting, entry gates, renovated restrooms, new box office/ticketing area, regulation-size field that can accommodate football, rugby, and soccer)

      Named for: Jack Tomlinson, former Wildcat football player who was killed in World War II.
    5. Track and Field Complex

      The Recreation Sports Complex provides CWU students, the varsity track and field and cross country programs, and academic departments a new state-of-the-art facility for play and practice.

      • Grandstands with 600 spectator seats
      • 400-meter all-weather track that meets all NCAA competition specifications to accommodate all running events and multi-directional runways for jump events, i.e., high jump, pole vault, long jump, and triple jump

      Named for: Gary & Bobbi Frederick. Gary has been the head softball coach at CWU since 1995 and has been an athletic administrator and coach since 1967
