    1. Welcome Center

      The Welcome Center for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions is where your official campus tour - whether in person or virtual - will begin.  It is the starting point for
      all prospective undergraduate students visiting campus.The Welcome Center is open Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

    3. Amphitheater

      The Amphitheater, located behind the Carl E. Wynn Academic Center, is a beautiful outdoor space used for events, concerts, and other gatherings. Seen as somewhat of an oasis on campus, students can be found here studying, meeting up with friends or hanging out at the well-known turtle pond.

    4. Wilden Hall

      Home of the School of Business and Management, Wilden Hall contains faculty and administrative offices, classrooms, the Wyant Lecture Hall, and one of the seven computer labs located on East Campus. The School of Business is in the process of receiving the AACSB accreditation, and maintains a heavy focus on internships which are prompted by relationships with faculty and promote academic excellence.

    5. Warren Music Center

      The Warren Music Center is home to the School of Music, a conservatory level program featuring 21 choral and instrumental ensembles. As part of the College of Music and the Arts, the School of Music develops students into music professionals through an environment of musical excellence and artistic integrity

    6. Rose Garden

      The most historical spot on campus, the Rose Garden demonstrates how deeply our roots grow into the motto God First. As the only original building on campus, this is where students lived and took classes, and it now houses several academic departments and offices.

    7. Marshburn Memorial Library

      One of the university’s three libraries, the William V. Marshburn Memorial Library  on East Campus is a great resource for research involving English, history, political science, music, business, literature, and languages. It also includes a computer lab with Internet access, independent study rooms, a media center, and a 24 hour lobby for students to meet and study.

    8. Cornerstone Coffeehouse

      The Cornerstone Coffeehouse  is the campus hotspot for a great cup of coffee or tea on your way to class. The coffeehouse also offers indoor and outdoor seating for a casual conversation or study group. It is located next to the William V. Marshburn Memorial Library on East Campus, and is open 7–1 a.m. Monday–Thursday; 7 a.m.–5 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Saturday; and 6 p.m.–12 a.m. Sunday (hours listed are for the school year and may be subject to change). Payment options include cash, meal plans, Cougar Bucks, Dining Dollars, Department Dollars, and credit cards. 

    9. Cougar Walk Cafe

      The Cougar Walk Café , located in the heart of East Campus on Cougar Walk, is a popular outdoor dining venue specializing in southern BBQ fare, including BBQ brisket, pulled pork, and chicken sandwiches, as well as pickles, chips, lemonade, and sweet tea. It is open 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Monday–Friday (hours listed are for the school year and may be subject to change). Payment options include cash, checks, meal plans, Cougar Bucks, Department Dollars, and Dining Dollars. 

    10. Cougar Walk

      Cougar walk is the main artery of campus! Here you will be caught up in the hustle and bustle of students meeting for lunch, grabbing coffee with professors, and rushing off to class. During the school year various academic departments and student groups will be represented on Cougar Walk encouraging students to plug in on campus and get involved!

    11. 1899 Dining Hall

      The 1899 Dining Hall offers all-you-can-eat dining. There is a fully stocked salad bar, wrap station, hot entrees of the day, and desserts galore

    12. Mexicali Grill

      Mexicali grill serves Mexican-style cuisine such as quesadillas, tacos, burritos and salads filled with carnitas, carne asada and pollo asada. Also growing in popularity is their famous breakfast burrito!   

    13. Cougars' Den Cafe

      Cougars’ Den Café  is an All-American-style dining venue that features hamburgers, chicken burgers, veggie burgers, build your own pizza, chicken strips and an array of vegetarian options. It also houses the Paws 'N Go which offers healthy quick-grab items such as deli sandwiches, salads, sushi, wraps, and fresh-baked goods. 

    14. Seven Palms Amphitheater

       

      Seven Palms Amphitheater, located next to Hartwig Prayer Chapel and Smith Hall on East Campus, is often used for small concerts and barbecues. In the afternoon, students can be found studying or picnicking in this grassy area under the warm Southern California sun. 

       

    15. Smith Pond

      This is one of the places that most adequately embodies our motto God First as an institution. At the end of every semester students come out to Smith Pond and are baptized. It shows that APU is a place where students are comfortable enough but also bold enough to make these declarations of faith and to journey in life together.

    16. Freshman Dorms

      There are four freshman dorms on campus. Smith Hall is a two-story, all male dormitory; Adams Hall is a three-story all female dorm; and Trinity (five stories) and Engstrom (four stories) are co-ed by floor. The main living distinction between all four is that Engstrom features a suite-style bathroom while the others have bathrooms that are a community style. Each building also provides laundry facilities, study rooms, and central lounge areas.

    17. Trolley Stop

      APU has an interactive campus! In addition to East Campus, students will also attend classes, study in libraries, dine at eateries, and participate in various events on West Campus. Students will meet at the Trolley Stop to ride between campuses. The trolleys arrive every 7-15 minutes beginning at 7 a.m. and going until 11 p.m. Monday-Friday. It is also common to see students walking, biking, longboarding or even scootering!

    18. Segerstrom Science Center

      Segerstrom Science Center, home of our Math and Science departments, is one of the newest buildings on campus and a $54 million investment in APU academics. Faculty and students in the math, science, and health fields have access to state-of-the-art equipment including teaching and research laboratories, electron microscopes, and cadaver labs. This hand-on learning in Segerstrom allows students to have a holistic approach as they prepare to pursue careers in the science and medical fields.

    19. Prayer Wall

      Modeled after the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, the Prayer Wall is a place on campus that authentically reflects APU community. Students will write down prayers and petitions to God, place them into the wall, and other students, faculty, and staff will take them out and pray over them. This space allows the Azusa Pacific community to pray, reflect and journey in faith together.

    20. The Warehouse Theater

      The Warehouse Theater, located in the Mary Hill Center, is home of the Department of Theater, Film, and Television's theatrical productions. APU's Theater Arts programs provide an encouraging, challenging, and creative environment to prepare students for careers in acting and the theater, and develop their talents within a Christian worldview.

    21. Duke Academic Complex

      The Duke Academic Complex houses the School of Theology as well as several other graduate and undergraduate departments. It is also home to Stamps Theological Library (library two of three on campus), two art galleries, classrooms, seminar rooms, a lecture hall, and the Noel-Academy for Strengths-Based Leadership and Education.

    22. Hugh and Hazel Darling Library

      Library three of three, the Hugh and Hazel Darling Library is a traditionally designed library space containing book stacks and workstations, as well as a stained-glass dome. It also provides the Ahmanson Information Center with a computer lab, study rooms and conference rooms.

    23. Heritage Court

      Heritage Court offers various environments for individuals to meet whether it is around dining area tables for a bite to eat, communal tables for studying, or the lounge area to catch up with friends. It features The Market, The Grill, and Hillside Grounds.

       

      The Market provides a quick stop for students to grab fresh fruits, wraps, and salads. The Grill serves sliders, personal pizzas, burgers, delicious vegetarian options and more! Hillside Grounds provides a variety of coffee, tea and smoothies, as well as a student favorite, paninis.

       

      In addition to Heritage Court, West Campus is also the location of two more dining venues. Grab a sandwich at Sam’s Subs where they bake their bread fresh every morning or by Umai Sushi for a bento box or a specialty roll.

    24. University Bookstore

      The University Bookstore offers textbooks, school supplies and Cougar Gear! Stop by for your latest APU sweatshirt, shirt or coffee mug Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

    25. Felix Event Center

      Felix Event Center is the host of a wide variety of APU events including chapel, Dinner Rally, and Night of Champions, and provides a venue for community gatherings. It is also home of Cougar Basketball, Volleyball and Acrobatics and Tumbling, representing out 19 varsity sports that are now a part of the NCAA DII!
