A large version of the Azusa Pacific University Seal is on display on a metal plate in the ground just east of the Faculty Quad. The Seal features the school motto (God First); the school’s name, state, and year of founding; and APU’s logo—the university’s Four Cornerstones (Christ, Scholarship, Community, Service) with the cross-shaped space between them.
