    1. Center for Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences

Your home-away-from-home as you transition from student to confident health care professional, every corner of the futuristic 325,000-square-foot the Center for Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences facility was designed for collaborative and hands-on learning opportunities.

An operating room suite, 3-D workstations, an expanded health sciences library, a 300+ seat auditorium, and a suite of life-size patient simulators will take your learning to the next level.
    2. School of Law

Quinnipiac University School of Law is at the forefront of a rapidly changing legal landscape. With continued shifts in health care, immigration, human rights and cyber-crime law, exciting career opportunities are emerging for those who are well prepared.

Our ABA-approved curriculum blends strong academics with a range of experiential learning opportunities. As you master the law, you’ll have many chances to apply what you've learned — in our pro-bono legal clinics and student-run organizations, through externships at firms, courts, corporations and nonprofits, or during a national legal competition. You'll be led by distinguished, accessible faculty who are experienced in specialties ranging from immigration to labor law.
    3. School of Medicine

The Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine is unique. At most medical schools, the intense needs of conducting research and generating income directly compete with delivering a thoughtful, first-rate education for medical students. Here, our singular focus is your preparation.

Our innovative and student-focused curriculum focuses on interprofessional opportunities, a commitment to diversity and a strong emphasis on primary care to meet the needs of our nation’s rapidly aging population. Quinnipiac is a leading university in educating students in a wide-range of health science disciplines. Our purposefully designed North Haven Campus enables collaborative, hands-on learning with students from programs such as physician assistant, nursing, occupational therapy and law.

Your clinical foundation is laid as early as your first year, and strengthened through premiere hospital partnerships and a network that stretches across the Northeast. Your development is guided every step of the way by leading physicians with decades of experiences in clinics, hospitals and private practice who prioritize teaching.
    4. School of Nursing

Purposefully located within the Center for Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, you’ll experience the essential role nurses play in integrated teams as you regularly collaborate with students from other health care programs. The knowledge, instincts and team-based skills you develop in classrooms and labs will be the foundation for your clinical and field work. As your experiences scale, your skills and confidence will reach the levels necessary to handle all the challenges inherent in 21st Century health care.

Our bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs will prepare you for a successful career in hospitals, clinics, schools and many other settings. Our graduates become leaders at every level of their careers, and facilitate positive change to government, law and patient care policies. They are true advocates for their profession in the level of care they provide and in how they continually strive to improve the safety and well being of their patients.
    5. School of Health Sciences

An education in the School of Health Sciences prepares students to tackle all major challenges of 21st-century patient care, with passionate professors, experiential learning and some of the most technologically advanced learning tools available in academia. From clinicals to student-run volunteer work, we provide you the opportunities to put into practice what you learn in the classroom.

Interprofessional and collaborative work are essential to team-based patient care, and they are cornerstones our curriculum. In fact, we are one of few universities in the nation that offer a School of Health Sciences, School of Medicine and School of Nursing on one campus, making interdisciplinary learning not only possible, but encouraged.

Our innovative and highly ranked programs — at the bachelor’s, master’s and clinical doctorate levels — will give you the confidence, expertise and connections to launch a thriving career. From day one, your focus is on the people and the communities you’ll one day heal and strengthen. Our focus is on you.
    6. School of Education

At Quinnipiac, we prepare outstanding classroom teachers, administrators and instructional designers alike. Our program is intentionally designed to develop not only first-rate teachers, but leaders and innovators who continually improve upon the way a well-rounded education is delivered.

Our approach draws on best practices and leading-edge theory to provide the tools you'll need to take action, think innovatively and, ultimately, transform lives. Our award-winning faculty bring a wealth of working experience to their teaching, and our hands-on curriculum emphasizes classroom simulations and close partnerships with a number of area school districts.

The point of difference is clear, and will only becomes more evident as you advance in your career. School districts across Connecticut and around the country regularly tell us how effective and talented our alumni are. If you're ready to be a part of that, then the journey to a rewarding, meaningful career begins right here.
    7. Edward and Barbara Netter Library

The Edward and Barbara Netter Library at the Center for Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences is the primary library for our medical students. It offers extensive electronic resources and individualized research consultations with our librarian staff.

Our librarians offer a variety of services including one-on-one research assistance and curriculum support through our liaison program. They work directly with our graduate schools to develop a customized information literacy curriculum. Like our teaching and clinical programs, it’s a library designed to meet the needs of the 21st-century physician.
    8. Lynne L. Pantalena Law Library

The Lynne L. Pantalena Law Library features an attractive, three-story atrium and offers law students and faculty access to a wide range of resources and technology, from legal treatises that date back to the 18th century to current journals. The library includes space for collaborative work, reading rooms and the Library Commons, a dedicated space for law school and professional groups.

Among its extensive holdings are legal treatises dating back to the 18th century, a comprehensive collection of current journals and access to a full array of electronic databases, including Bloomberg Law, HeinOnline, LexisNexis, Westlaw and other web-based services. Our interlibrary loan network makes it possible to obtain materials from libraries around the world.
    9. Cermonial Courtroom

Our Ceremonial Courtroom, a 180-seat two-tiered Courtroom complete with Judge's Chambers and Jury Deliberation Room, in the School of Law prepares our students for careers in litigation while also hosting major events, including Connecticut Supreme Court hearings last fall.
    10. Standardized Patient and Assessment Center

Our medical and nursing students get an authentic feel for their future careers in what we call “S-PAC,” our Standardized Patient and Assessment Center, a 16-room facility that simulates outpatient clinical offices and provides a realistic environment for students learning clinical skills. Standardized patients, often experienced actors, are trained to exhibit a variety of symptoms and ailments. Students learn critical (and often poorly taught) skills of visual diagnosis, history taking, physical examinations and patient communication. Students record information in a simulated electronic health record system, learning how to document findings and order tests.
    11. Bristol-Myers Squibb Center for Science Teaching and Learning

The Bristol-Myers Squibb Center for Science Teaching and Learning is a network of educators collaborating to advance the art of STEM education starting in kindergarten, developing and delivering a number of services and programs in response to this desperate need.
    12. North Haven Dining Hall

The full service dining facility on our North Haven Campus features the same health-friendly kitchen options as our other campuses, as well as a full deli-bar and the same grab-and-go choices, including Au Bon Pain soups and savory salads made up of more than your average greens.

We designed the dining hall with busy and passionate students in mind — well-furnished and mellow, complete with terrace and patio seating overlooking a tranquil pond for those times when you can relax and enjoy a full meal.
    13. Student Lounges & Study Areas

Five high-powered schools on 150 acres – that’s a lot of concentrated brainpower. To support all this learning, North Haven Campus also features a library, bookstore, full-service dining hall and 350-seat auditorium, plus picnic tables, open spaces, and a pond for contemplative moments.

We understand that everyone has their own unique study habits and preferences. For this reason, we've carefully designed a variety of spaces to ensure your comfort, help you focus and maximize your success.
