    1. Rhatigan Student Center

      1. Walk through the doors at the south entrance.
      2. Once you reach the top of the stairs, turn left and walk by the Shocker Store and the restaurants.

The RSC is at the heart of student life and is home to:
      • Chick-fil-A, Panda Express, Freddy's, Starbucks and Shocker Sports Grill and Lanes (it has burgers, darts, billiards and a bowling alley!)
      • The Shocker Store, where students find their textbooks and Shocker swag.
      • Student Government Association, Student Engagement, Advocacy and Leadership (SEAL), and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion
      Did you know?
Pizza Hut was founded by Shockers! The original Pizza Hut building is now a museum honoring the entrepreneurial spirit of the Carney brothers, located on the northeast side of campus.
      3. Head out the east entrance across from Starbucks. Walk straight out the doors and follow the sidewalk to a small courtyard.
      4. Turn left at the courtyard and pass by the Shocker Student Success Center.
I SPY ... the WSU water tower! (Hint: Stand on the patio that's just outside the east exit.)
    2. Clinton Hall

      1. As you see the building, imagine yourself as a college student walking through campus and passing by your friends on your way to class.

Clinton Hall is the future home of the Shocker Student Success Center.
      • The Shocker Student Success Center will offer access to 17 different student services in one spot.
      • The building will house the Career Closet, OneStop Student Services, Tutoring, Testing Services, Tech Help and more!
      • The building used to be home for the Barton School of Business before it moved to Woolsey Hall on the east side of campus.
      • How does this look different from your school?
      Did you know?
Clinton Hall was built in 1970 to house the Barton School of Business. In 2022, a new, state-of-the-art business school building, Woolsey Hall, opened on our Innovation Campus. Clinton Hall is now  undergoing renovations to become the Shocker Student Success Center.
      2. Go out the north side of the building and down the stairs.
    3. Plaza of Heroines

      1. Walk to the center of the Plaza and grab a seat.

The Plaza of Heroines is a way to say "Thank you" to the important women in the Wichita community.
      • More than a thousand women are honored in this space.
      • The statue in the center is called "Spanish Dancer" and was created by artist Sophia Vari.
I SPY ... a familiar name! (Hint: Can you find someone with the same name as your mother, grandmother or friend?)
      2. Walk northeast past Ablah Library and peek at the statues nearby. Take the diagonal path and follow the signs toward the Heskett Center.
    4. Heskett Center

      1. Head into the Heskett Center and tell the front desk you're taking a quick tour.

This is our student recreation center! We have a YMCA on campus AND the Heskett Center. Both are free for students to use.
      • When you enter on the right, there will be an E-sports hub. Students can play on our Division I e-sports teams and earn scholarship money!
      • Retracing your steps past the front desk again, you'll find Wiedemann Natatorium in the back of the main lobby. Students can work as a lifeguard, take classes here, or free swim when the pool is open!
I SPY ... the tallest building on campus! (Hint: It's six stories tall and named Lindquist Hall.)
      2. Exit through the main doors, turn right, and take a minute to explore the outdoor workout area.

      3. Walk past Lindquist Hall and past the south side of Hubbard Hall.

      4. You should eventually see a large, shiny horse statue on your right. Keep going! You're almost to Shocker Hall.
    5. Shocker Hall

      1. Stroll to the courtyard in the center of the buildings.
Shocker Hall is home to more than 800 students!
      • Look up at all of the windows! Most students have their own window, along with their bed, desk and convertible gaming chair.
      • Students living on campus have unlimited meal plans that allow them to eat in the dining hall as many times as they want.
      Did you know?
Shocker Hall is one of three residence halls on campus. It even has its own coffee shop, the Groundhouse, which serves local Reverie Roasters coffee.
I SPY ... a track and field stadium! (Hint: It's near the loading zone and Koch Arena. It is known as Cessna Stadium.)
      2. There is a sidewalk that loops between Buildings A and D. Follow it and cross the sidewalk to head toward your final stop.
    6. Morrison Hall and Echo Circle

      1. The building on your left with a clock tower is Morrison Hall.

      2. This is a Shocker Selfie Spot! Take a selfie and post with #ShockerVisit and #WSUNOW.

Stand in the center of Echo Circle and yell, "Go Shocks!"
      • If you stand in the center, the sound will echo between the buildings.
      • Morrison Hall was once Wichita State's library. Ablah Library is now the main library on campus.
      Did you know?
Morrison Hall is home to WSU's leadership team, including the presidnet.
I SPY ... windows in the shape of a circle! (Hint: That's Duerksen Hall and the windows are made from old Boeing B-52 airplanes.)
      3. Head back toward the Rhatigan Student Center to conclude your tour.
    7. Back to Rhatigan Student Center

I SPY ... one last Shocker Selfie Spot! The pops of yellow at the Rhatigan Student Center’s east entrance make the perfect backdrop for a selfie. Take one last picture with your group and post it with #ShockerVisit and #WSUNOW.
