    1. Passarelli Track

Named for revered track coach Anthony Passarelli, Passarelli Track was constructed in 2009 and dedicated at Homecoming 2010. Prior to its construction, Delbarton track athletes practiced on some interesting surfaces including the old Madison Square Garden wood track. In the late 1960s the 80 sections of spruce (6 feet wide and 12 feet long, 11 laps to the mile and 16 feet straight away) wooden track purchased and donated by a Delbarton parent and installed in what is presently the Abbey Fields. After several years of exposure to the weather, track foundations and surface had so deteriorated that the track became unusable. Passarelli Track finally supplies Green Wave track athletes with a state-of-the art training and competition facility. The track was made possible by the generous donation from a former Delbarton cross country runner and named in tribute to his late, great coach, Tony Passarelli.
