Western employees and students taking at least one credit can ride the Municipal Transit (MTU) and Scenic Mississippi Regional Transit (S.M.R.T.) buses for free with their Western ID!
La Crosse MTU provides bus services to La Crosse, French Island, a portion of Onalaska, and La Crescent, Minnesota. They have multiple bus stops throughout campus. S.M.R.T provides regional transit bus service for Crawford, Vernon and La Crosse Counties in southwest Wisconsin. The S.M.R.T. bus stop on Western's campus is the MTU shelter on 7th Street by the Academic Resource Center. Visit the S.M.R.T website for a schedule and more information.
