      1. The Bead Three

        Tulane's beloved Nutall Oak that served as the "Bead Tree" for over 30 years passed on and was replaced in 2020 with three 21-foot tall steel and acrylic "trees," known as the Bead Three.  Throwing beads in the bead tree has become a rite of passage for Tulane students. They say that landing a bead on your first try is a sign of good luck to come!
