        Décou-Labat about 300 upperclassmen in 4 buildings. Décou-Labat's design has garnered awards from the national design community.

        The three buildings facing McAlister Drive are similar in design. Each building offers suite style housings consisting of either two double rooms, two single rooms, or one singe room and one double room sharing a bathroom.

        In a significant milestone for Tulane University's history, Deidre Dumas Labat and Reynold T. Décou made history in 1966 and 1967 as the first African American undergraduates to earn degrees from Newcomb College and Tulane, respectively. In November 2019, their remarkable achievements were commemorated with the renaming of the Willow Residences community in their honor.
