        Constructed in 1987 and designed by architects Waldemar S. Nelson and John Desmond and Associates. It houses the School of
        Engineering and 27 state of the art laboratories.

        The building is named in honor of Corinne “Lindy” Claiborne Boggs, graduate of Newcomb College. Boggs was the first woman from Louisiana to be elected to the U.S. House; elected to her late husband Hale Boggs’ U.S. House of Representative seat after his death in 1972.
