    Stops

    1. Administration Building & Prudden Plaza

      The Administration Building, one of the original buildings on campus, was built in 1923. It currently houses the Office of the President, the Registrar and the Business Office. The Psychology, Criminal Justice and Human Services departments can be found on the third floor, along with a 250 seat theatre.
    2. Brian L. Honeycutt Plaza

    3. Jane Freeman Hall

      Jane Freeman Hall has served as the main academic building for Pfeiffer University since 1936. Originally, the building had science classrooms on the first floor with faculty apartments and the library on the second floor.

       

      Today, the building houses most of the general education classrooms and faculty offices for the Arts and Sciences Division. Jane Freeman has been updated with the latest technology and classroom space that promotes collaborative learning.

    4. Henry Pfeiffer Chapel

      Built in 1942 and renovated in 2006, Henry Pfeiffer Chapel serves as a space for classes, social activities and the campus ministry. Services take place during the voluntary cultural hour on Wednesdays from 10:00am – 11:00am.

      Built in 1935, the historic President’s House is used to host events and campus gatherings.

    7. South Quad

      A frequent hang-out and relaxation space for students, the South Quad features a sand volleyball court and space for students to hold activities. Volleyball tournaments and other events take place throughout the school year.
    8. New Hall

      One of the more recent residence halls constructed, New Hall features 24 three bedroom suites that have a kitchenette, private bathrooms, a living area, and a washer and dryer. This residence hall is reserved for upperclassmen with a GPA of 3.0 during their time at Pfeiffer.

    10. Harris Annex

      Equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and classroom space, the Harris Annex provides students in biology and chemistry courses the proper equipment needed to grasp modern curriculum.

       

      Since its construction in 2002, Harris Annex has provided the proper space for many students to conduct research experiments and scholarly studies.

    11. Harris Science Building & Donald Walser Center for Nursing

      Built in 1958, the Harris Science building is named after John Balle Harris, who was the editor of the Stanly News and Press and a member of the Pfeiffer Board of Trustees.

       

      The building houses the largest lecture hall on campus, as well as the Donald Walser Center for Nursing and the Math Department.

    13. Stokes Dining Hall

      The Stokes Dining Hall is the largest dining area on campus. In addition to inside seating, tables and umbrellas in the adjacent courtyard area are available for students to enjoy.

       

      The Dining Hall offers breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the school year. Daily options include an entrée special, grill special, deli, salad bar, pizza, pasta and dessert.

    14. Stokes Student Center

      Named after Dr. J. Lem Stokes II, the third president of Pfeiffer, Stokes Student Center has served as the primary building for student resources since its construction in 1964.

       

      After numerous renovations over the years, the building now houses the offices of Student Development, Residence Life, the Learning Center, the Writing Lab and Student Health Services. The Stokes Student Center also has amenities for students and visitors such as the dining café, Sandellas, Langley Lounge, the university store and the Community Room.

    15. G.A. Pfeiffer Library

      Built in 1967, the G.A. Pfeiffer Library has extensive space for study and research for students, faculty and the local community. The university archives, the computer lab and research computers are connected to databases and resources allowing for scholarly studies to excel while on campus. The building also houses the Education Department on the top floor.

    18. Village Post Office

      Built in 1959, the post office serves the students of Pfeiffer University and all of the residents in the Village of Misenheimer.
    19. Cline Hall Sunroom

      One of the original residence halls built in 1935, Cline Hall now serves as the Residential Honors College. The living learning community is comprised of honors student who apply and are selected to the program.
    20. Merner Hall Residence Room

      Built in 1935, Merner Hall has since been renovated and is currently a co-ed residence hall. The building blends the character and tradition of Pfeiffer with updated amenities. Currently, first-year students reside in the residence hall.

    22. Knapp Health and Fitness Center

      Get your workouts done with top notch equipment under the supervision of knowledgeable trainers and staff. Workout at your convenience or join an intramural sport.
    23. Athletic Complex

      The outdoor athletic complex surrounding the Merner Gymnasium includes six tennis courts with an air-conditioned lounge and restrooms; fields for baseball, softball, lacrosse and soccer; and areas for golf practice and intramurals.
    24. Merner Gym

      With a seating capacity of 1,800, Merner Gym hosts the men's and women's basketball and women's volleyball teams.

       

      Included in this facility, the Merner Center for Health, Physical Education, and Recreation houses the Sport Medicine and Management program. Built in 1971, Merner Gym boasts renovated classrooms, training facilities, locker rooms and weight rooms.

      Recently renovated and equipped with outstanding amenities, Merner Pool is a popular place to work out and cool off.
    26. Knapp Tennis Center

      The Knapp Tennis Center is a six-court lighted facility located in the northern corner of Pfeiffer’s main campus. The Knapp Center was dedicated in October 1997 in honor of Warren D. “Bud” Knapp and Jane Knapp, two avid supporters of Pfeiffer University Tennis.

       

      Logoed windscreens located on court one provide the perfect accents to this pristine facility. Complete with seating for over 75 including from the Knapp Center porch, the tennis complex showcases Pfeiffer student-athletes in a variety of ways.

       

      The Knapp Center is home to the Pfeiffer University Men’s and Women’s Tennis teams, while hosting a variety of other activities including high school matches, clinics, and kinesiology classes. The center is also used by students and faculty.

    27. N.E. Lefko field

      N.E. Lefko Field is the home of the Pfeiffer men’s and women’s soccer teams in the fall as well as the men’s and women’s lacrosse teams in the spring.

       

      The field is named after legendary soccer coach, Nicholas E. Lefko and is the home to the 2015 Men's Soccer NCAA National Champions.

    28. Jack Ingram Softball Field

      Jack Ingram Field is the home of the Pfeiffer softball team. The field is named after the softball program founder, Jack Ingram ’74. The facility was built in 1977 and was previously named the Pfeiffer Softball Field, before being renamed the Jack Ingram Field in 1999.

       

      The facility features six-foot high fences and the dimensions are: 195 feet down the left and right field lines and 215 feet to center field.

    29. Joe Ferebee Baseball Field

      A classic field of dreams, Ferebee Field defines Falcons baseball. We built it, and exceptional athletes show up to play.
    30. Gibson Lake

      Gibson lake is a seven-acre lake circled by wooded paths on the north campus named in honor of Walter I. Gibson, senior vice president of Pfeiffer College, 1956-1969.

       

      Adjacent to the lake is a pavilion of native fieldstone used for picnics, coffeehouses and other student functions. This area is also home to the Center for Outdoor Leadership challenge course, utilized for experiential team and leadership development programs.
