      1. Kimmel Pavilion

The Vascular and Endovascular Fellowship and Integrated Residency programs are comprised of hands-on surgical rotations at three major hospitals affiliated with NYU Langone Health and the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. These sites are located geographically close to one another, within a 10-block area on the East Side of Manhattan overlooking the East River, and include the Kimmel Pavilion, NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, and the VA NY Harbor Healthcare System

The Kimmel Pavilion is a large, technologically advanced tertiary care center with eight hybrid, open, and endovascular operating suites. Residents and fellows gain experience supervising the vascular surgery service and provide direct patient care. Residency and fellowship training experiences include routine procedures and complex open vascular surgical and endovascular procedures, as well as preoperative and postoperative care.

      2. NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue

Residents and fellows in the Vascular and Endovascular Fellowship and Integrated Residency at NYU Grossman School of Medicine complete hands-on surgical rotations at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, a Level I trauma center in one of the largest cities in the world.

At Bellevue, vascular residents and fellows gain broad and in-depth experience in the area of vascular trauma and in caring for a population that is notable for incredible socioeconomic and cultural diversity. Bellevue provides a particularly rich experience in vascular trauma, thoracic aortic aneurysms, and aortic dissections. We are proud to provide outstanding vascular surgical care, particularly to disenfranchised patients, and to serve as a referral center in New York City for complex vascular surgical conditions that other public hospitals in the area are not prepared to handle.

      3. VA NY Harbor Healthcare System

Residents and fellows in the Vascular and Endovascular Fellowship and Integrated Residency participate in surgical rotations at the VA NY Harbor Healthcare System

At this location, vascular fellows and senior vascular residents act as junior attendings for vascular surgical services. Residents and fellows manage the inpatient service, oversee all consults, and do the preoperative planning for all vascular surgery cases. Trainees also gain valuable teaching experience and help train general surgical residents, as well as experience managing the outpatient clinics and the endovascular inventory of the operating room. We are privileged to provide veterans with outstanding vascular surgical care, often for complicated cases, and to serve as a regional referral center for complex vascular care that is not available at other nearby VA hospitals.
