Admission and Student Financial Services (5)
Admission and Student Financial Services has 2 single-user restrooms on the first floor; 2 single user restrooms on the second floor; and a comfort room on the second floor.
Humanities and Social Studies Center (16)
The HSSC has gender-inclusive restrooms on each floor, located near the men's and women's restrooms, and a gender-inclusive comfort room on the second floor, Room
S2373.
Within the complex:
- HSSC North has 2 per floor.
- HSSC South has 1 per floor.
- ARH has 1 per floor.
- Carnegie Hall has 2 per floor.
Noyce Science Center (1)
Noyce has a gender-inclusive comfort room in the lowest level, Room 0102.
Joe Rosenfield Center (1)
The Joe Rosenfield '25 Center has a single-user restroom on first floor near the southwest doors.
Bucksbaum Arts Center (7)
Bucksbaum Arts Center has single-user restrooms in the basement, first, and second floors near the south section of the building, as well as one on the second floor near the middle of the building.
Bear Recreation and Fitness Center (4)
The Bear Recreation and Athletic Center has gender-specific locker rooms and restrooms in the lower level and restrooms on most levels.
Gender-inclusive options are:
- a gender-inclusive locker room across from Darby Gym, third door east of the elevator
- the family changing area off the pool deck
- 2 single-user restrooms across from Room 205 (second floor just north of the fitness center)
Burling Library (3)
Burling Library has single-user restrooms on the first, third, and fourth floors.
Mears Cottage (3)
Mears Cottage has two single-user restrooms on the second floor and one on the third floor.
Forum (2)
Student Health and Wellness in the lower level of the Forum offers single-user restrooms.
North Campus Residence Halls
All residence hall floors have at least one gender-inclusive restroom available for all residents to use. Most floors and restrooms are designated gender-inclusive, with a few exceptions.
A few north residence halls restrooms and floors are designated for use by those of a specific gender.
Gender-Specific to Women:
- Clark 3rd: floor and 1 restroom
- Langan Pit: 1 restroom
- Norris 4th: floor and 3 restrooms
- Smith 3rd: floor and one restroom
- Younker 1st and 3rd: 1 restroom on north side
Gender-Specific to Men:
- Norris 3rd: Floor and 2 restrooms
- Younker 3rd: 1 restroom on south side
East Campus Residence Halls
All residence hall floors have at least one gender-inclusive restroom, available for all residents to use. Most floors and restrooms are designated gender-inclusive, with a few exceptions.
A few east residence halls restrooms and floors are designated for use by those of a specific gender.
Gender-Specific to Women:
- Kershaw 4th: floor and 1 restroom
- Lazier 2nd: 1 restroom
- Rose 3rd: 1 restroom
Gender-Specific to Men:
- Rose 1st: floor and 1 restroom
South Campus Residence Halls
All residence hall floors have at least one gender-inclusive restroom, available for all residents to use. Most floors and restrooms are designated gender-inclusive, with a few exceptions.
A few south residence halls restrooms and floors are designated for use by those of a specific gender.

- Haines Pit: floor and 1 restroom
- Haines 3rd: 1 restroom
- James Pit: floor and 1 restroom

Grant O. Gale Observatory (1)
The observatory has a single-user restroom on the first floor.
Goodnow Hall (2)
Goodnow Hall has single-user restrooms on the first and second floors.
Steiner Hall (6)
Steiner Hall has two single-user restrooms on each floor.
Herrick Chapel (1)
Herrick Chapel has a single-user restroom located on the first floor near the east end.
Craft Workshop (1)
The craft workshop has a single-user restroom and is located off the middle of the the South Campus loggia.
Nollen House (5)
Nollen House has two single-user restrooms in the basement, one on the first floor, and two on the second.
Windsor House (2)
Windsor House has a single-user restroom on both the first and second floor.
1127 Park St. (1)
1127 Park St., which houses Analytics and Institutional Research and some faculty, has gender-inclusive restrooms on the first and second floors.
Macy House (2)
Macy House has single-user restrooms on the first and second floors.
Grinnell House (1)
Grinnell House has a single-user restroom on the first floor.
