        As America's only cultural urban state park, White River State Park (WRSP, to its friends) offers a unique blend of green space (Military Park, the Central Canal, White River itself) and cultural attractions - including the Indianapolis Zoo; White River Gardens; the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art; the NCAA Hall of Champions; the IMAX Theater; the Indiana State Museum; Victory Field and a premier outdoor concert venue, The Amphitheater at White River State Park.

        Visitors may elect to tour the park by pedal (bikes and other self-propelled vehicles may be leased from Wheel Fun Rentals), by boat (pedal boats and kayaks, also available at Wheel Fun Rentals), or by good-old-fashioned foot.
      2. Indiana State Museum located in White River State Park

        Capacity: 2,500

        Uncover Indiana’s secrets at this world-class institution, featuring unique exhibits and hands-on experiences that showcase the unique stories, events, and characters that have helped shape Indiana’s history. Spanning three floors of Core Galleries, the museum tells the story of the Hoosier State, and features a year-round calendar of exhibits that dive deeper into Indiana art, science, and culture.
      3. Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians & Western Art located in White River State Park

        Through exhibitions, performances, festivals, special events, and hands-on workshops with artists, the Eiteljorg immerses visitors in the many cultures of the American West and Native America, and it’s the only museum in the Midwest to offer this combination. The award-winning museum store sells gallery-quality gifts, and lunch is served at the Eiteljorg Museum Cafe.
      4. NCAA Hall of Champions and Conference Center

        Capacity: 1,770

        Experience all 24 NCAA sports. Visit the NCAA Hall of Champions and shoot some hoops in our 1930s replica gymnasium or throw a pass to a receiver in our sports simulators. You can also test your knowledge with a game of trivia on any or all 24 NCAA sports. Our interactive exhibits give you an opportunity to engage in the life of the student-athlete.
      5. Indianapolis Zoo located in White River State Park

        Highlights include the Simon Skjodt International Orangutan Center, Oceans exhibit, dolphin experience, open exhibit areas with 230 different animal species, and seasonal train and family roller coaster rides. Be sure to also visit White River Gardens, a 3.3-acre botanical center with seasonally changing outdoor formal gardens.
      6. Victory Field

        Capacity: 15,000

        The Indianapolis Indians 
        play their home games at Victory Field, a 14,200-seat ballpark nestled in White River State Park on the west side of downtown Indianapolis. Its panoramic views of the downtown Indy skyline are some of the best in the city. The venue opened in 1996 and has been recognized as one of the best ballparks in the United States by publications such as Baseball AmericaSports Illustrated, and Midwest Living.
      7. The Amphitheater at White River State Park

        This outdoor concert venue accommodates up to 6,800. Named a Top 100 outdoor world-class venue by Pollstar, this picturesque setting in White River State Park surrounded by 250 acres of green space is an ideal place to enjoy your favorite big-name band.
