      1. Waldo S. Tippin Gymnasium & Natatorium

The Waldo S. Tippin Gymnasium-Natatorium was was first dedicated in ceremonies held October 12, 1968. In Spring 2018 the Pennsylvania Department of General Services commenced with a $42.7 million renovation of Tippin Gym, which reached substantial completion in the fall of 2019.

The renovation was more than a facelift for the historic home of Golden Eagle athletics - it was a complete modernization and reimagining of the space, providing new amenities and features for Clarion student-athletes.  In addition to new locker room and office spaces, Tippin now features an attached auxiliary gym equipped with six basketball hoops and a Daktronics scoring system; an expanded two-story weight room that stands as a showcase to the public driving by on adjacent Greenville Avenue; and a fully-redesigned natatorium area with ample natural light and movable bulkhead.

The main gymnasium features approximately 2,500 seats and now includes a state-of-the-art sound system, as well as three large Daktronics video displays.
