Mothers Rooms
Nursing mothers on the Rice campus are welcome to feed their infants in any public area, and many campus restrooms are equipped with changing stations, but for those who desire additional privacy, the university provides lactation rooms to allow mothers to pump breast milk or nurse their children in a secure, clean and comfortable setting.
Each Mothers Room has an assigned contact who can provide assistance. A complete list of these lactation room locations may be found on this interactive map or at this link.
The information for the Mothers Room in the Rice Memorial Center is:
Rice Memorial Center - Ley Student Center – Level 1, Room 102C
Located on Level 1 of the Rice Memorial Center. Visitors need an access code that can be obtained at the information desk to access this room. Google calendar can be utilized for scheduling.
