The home of Yellow Jackets men’s and women’s basketball, McCamish Pavilion opened in 2012 on the site of the former Alexander Memorial Coliseum. The facility honors the visionary philanthropy of the late Henry F. “Hank” McCamish Jr., a 1950 industrial management alumnus of Georgia Tech. The state-of-the-art facility has been recognized for its extensive use of reclaimed portions of its predecessor, including the signature steel beams forming the dome and the flooring. With seating for 8,600, the McCamish Pavilion also serves as a venue for special campus events, including Fall and Spring Commencement.
