        Built as a private home in 1931 and opened as a lodge in 1937, this upscale hotel is an 8-minute drive from The University of Arizona. 

        Rooms and suites have hacienda-style decor and include flat-screen TVs, minifridges and free WiFi. Some have fireplaces, patios or balconies and whirlpool tubs. In-room spa treatments are available for a fee.

        The farm-to-table restaurant is framed by floor-to-ceiling windows and overlooks a Mexican-tiled outdoor patio featuring a 4-sided fireplace. The outdoor pool has food and drink service, and features a stone fireplace and handmade loungers. The hotel has 3 meeting rooms.
