The West Campus Allied Health Sciences (AHS) building houses Valencia's dental hygiene, radiology, sonography, respiratory therapy, polysomnography and cardiovascular technology programs, as well as dedicated biology and chemistry lab classrooms.
With high-tech equipment and labs, Valencia's health science programs emphasize hands-on learning. In the cardiac catheterization lab, students use training simulators to practice performing life-saving procedures. The dental hygiene lab doubles as a clinic, offering dental care to the community while providing students the opportunity to work on real patients.
Valencia also offers two health sciences bachelor's degrees here: Cardiopulmonary Sciences and Radiologic and Imaging Sciences.
