Located at the bus shelter at Ridge Road and Ehringhaus Residence Hall, this artwork, entitled "Barning Around in North Carolina," was created by Sally Gregoire of Mountain Shadow Designs as a nod to the agricultural history of North Carolina. Depicted are four local barns that watch over the landscape, tying together our rural and urban existences as we drive by them every day. Sally uses both traditional and digital art techniques to document these buildings and artistically present them before they disappear from our landscapes.
