The Revelation sculpture is in the Alumni Sculpture Garden. The Alumni Sculpture Garden showcases temporary installations of sculpture by students and alumni on the University grounds.
Artist Statement
Revelation hints at the discovery or contemplation of spirituality and how it can be an experience that one moves in and out of throughout their lifetime. The fabricated metal door symbolizes that passageway, offering the viewer the option to go through it as they please, or perhaps even gaze at what’s on the other side of the mysterious door. I want the viewer to contemplate these experiences as I have recently and perhaps gain a greater understanding of what lies within.
