The "Drome"
The Drome (short for “Nerd-O-Drome”) is a shared, open space with high-end workstations that is available for student, staff, and faculty use.
Many collaborations occur in the Drome, most recently the production of animated short films Caldera (2012) and The Incident at Tower 37 (2009). Currently in production is Wires for Empathy, an “open movie” being directed by Bassam Kurdali (www.urchn.org) and being produced by an international team that includes Hampshire students and alumni.
