About Kendrick House
Located across the street from the Main Gate, Kendrick House was built in 1927 in the medieval revival style as a residence for single women faculty. It offered a variety of arrangements to suit their needs and budgets (single rooms with shared kitchenettes to two-bedroom apartments), a common dining hall with a fireplace, and a parlor with ornate plaster ceilings. Today, Kendrick comprises private apartments for faculty members, male and female.
