Garage B at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum is undergoing repairs and an inspection. The project began in August, with activity increasing in September. This work is expected to continue through December and into early January.
UT Parking and Transportation leases these parking areas from the City of Knoxville. For those who use the Park & Ride program, the city has provided alternative parking in the following locations during the project:

Garage C: Across the courtyard, directly behind the Civic Auditorium and Coliseum, with 556 spaces.

Honor Our Troops Drive surface lot: Between Garages B and C, with 234 spaces.
Portions of Garage B will be closed or cordoned off during repair work, including repairs to damaged concrete and structural bracing.
You may encounter locked gates or restricted access in certain areas. Access may change as work progresses, and detailed schedules for repairs are not always available in advance.
If Garage B is closed when you arrive — or if you would rather avoid the repairs — please park in Garage C or the Honor Our Troops Drive surface lot. Your Park and Ride permit is valid in both locations.
