Frank Peterson, professor emeritus of sociology, also served as associate dean for the University of Puget Sound. Dr. Peterson is a class of 1950 alumnus. This Starburst Locust tree was planted in 1985 in recognition of his 30-year service award. It is near the North East Corner of Todd Hall.
