      1. Sutton Quad

         Sutton Quad is named after Albert V. Sutton, the original architect of the university who developed the campus layout principles and designed Jones Hall, but passed away early in the building history. His wife Marie Hewitt Sutton (a relative of C.H. Jones) donated the financing for the development of Sutton Quadrangle in 1924.
