      1. Phibbs Hall

         Phibbs Hall is part of the "South Quad" group of residence halls. It was built in 1990, and was originally called "New Hall," but in 1992 the name was changed to honor Philip M. Phibbs, president of the university from 1973 to 1992, and Gwen Phibbs.
