Elks Place is home to the Tulane School of Social Work (TSSW), the 5th oldest school of social work in the nation. TSSW offers on-campus or online master's and doctorate degrees. https://tssw.tulane.edu/

Elks Place was designed by Howard Coleman and constructed in the early 1900’s as the Gulf Oil and Refining headquarters. It was later used for the Elk’s Lodge and at one time had a swimming pool and full gymnasium.
