          Established in 1962 and active since 1968, Tulane University Archives collects, preserves, and administers over 12,000 linear feet of materials from the university's administrative and academic offices, including correspondence, office files, images, publications, theses, dissertations, and non-current student records. It also houses historical memorabilia donated by alumni. The archives support university administration and provide valuable resources for academic research, genealogists, and alumni descendants. Key holdings include the correspondence and office files of the Board of Administrators since 1845 and the Office of the President from William Preston Johnston (1884-1899) to Eamon Michael Kelly (1980-1998).
