About
The Office of Residential Life runs a program called "Clothes Out" during the week that students move out in June, where students can donate clothing and small appliances. The items are donated to Goodwill. University Apartments also puts out book donation boxes. This was created to help reduce waste when students move-out, so that old clothes can find a new purpose.
In 2024, UCLA students will have an opportunity to donate unwanted household and bulky items, including furniture. Partnering with local non profits, LA City Council District 5, LA Sanitation, and campus partners, UCLA will host two “Sustainable Move Out” events in the North Village area, along with two events on the Hill on campus
