About
EH&S picks up hazardous waste at each lab building weekly. The hazardous waste is shipped out once a month to EPA approved facilities. EH&S also collects small handheld electronics, batteries, and fluorescent bulbs. UCLA also hosts the LA City Household Hazardous Waste Program which allows the public to dispose of household chemicals, electronic waste, batteries, pharmaceuticals and medical sharps.
