           About

As a strategy to reduce the amount of natural gas needed to heat hot water, almost all residential high-rise buildings have solar hot water heating panels on the roofs. All together these high-rise systems are able to store and heat more than 15,000 gallons of water. This gas saving method reduces the reliance on the boilers to heat the water; thus, this overall prevents 300 metric tons of CO2 emissions and financially saves over $20,000 per year.
