van den Berg Hall is home to the AACSB-accredited School of Business, one of the largest programs at New Paltz. Here, students receive a world-class business education to prepare them for today's challenging global economy. van den Berg's signature clock tower, which can be heard chiming throughout the day, was installed in 2005 after the original was destroyed by fire in 1990.
The van den Berg Annex, connected behind the building, houses the college's Institute for International Business as well as the English as a Second Language program.
van den Berg is on the western edge of campus, just a five-minute walk from the shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues of downtown New Paltz.
