Enjoy some time in nature on JMU's brand new trail loops, connecting UREC to the Edith J. Carrier Arboretum and to UPARK.
There are 1, 2 and 3 mile loops. All distances are approximate. Hop on the trails at any point along the loops. Directional posts have been installed and trail head signs are coming soon. The 1 mile loop passes through the Disc Golf Course and is also marked by logs and white blaze on trees.
Expect challenging terrain. There are some steep inclines and declines. Trails are varying surfaces including chipped wood, gravel, and concrete.
Restrooms, shelter and assistance are available at University Park and the Edith J. Carrier Arboretum during respective facility operating hours. For questions or to reserve these trails for an event, please contact UREC.
