          The Frank Porter Graham Student Union, also called the Carolina Union, is home to more than 950 student organizations and provides programs, services and facilities for all members of the Carolina campus community. The Union's meeting rooms and lounge areas are popular spots for students to study, meet with friends, eat and relax.

          Building Features:

          • Lactation Room:
            • Room 3200 - Rocking chair and baby changing station available in the room. Keys available at main information desk 8 a.m. - midnight. Please call 919-962-2286 for further details.
          • Gender Neutral Restroom:
            • Floor: 01, Room: 1509, Near Wendy's - Has foot washing sink, Accessible Toilet

          • Meditation and Prayer Rooms:
            • The Meditation Room

              Room 1101A – for meditation. It is located in the Underground (the bottom floor of the Union). If you go down the main stairs, you can access the room by walking towards the back left corner.

              The meditation room is available as long as the building is open (7:30 a.m. - 11 p.m. on Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. on Sunday). This space is not reservable since it is meant to be open to everyone at all times. You can enter the meditation room at any time during the hours above regardless of whether it is already in use or not.

            • Student Union Room 2510 – for Muslim prayer. During the fall and spring semesters, this space is available for daily prayer from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. every weekday. The room opens around 9:00 a.m. on Saturdays and at 11:00 a.m. on Sundays following weekend Union operating hours.
            • Student Union Room 2518 – for Jummah prayers (Fridays) 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

              The Muslim Students Association Opens in New Window hosts two shifts, one at 1:30 p.m. and the second one at 2:30 p.m. The times of the shifts change based on daylight savings, so there are adjustments throughout the year. Updates are available on MSA's Instagram: @uncmsa.
