          This renovation project remodeled the 5 in-patients wings of this 4-story research facility. An integral part of the layout designed by Pickett Designs utilizes a demountable partition wall systems that enables flexibility as the research institution grows and expands. There was much mindfulness when it came the type of material used: American walnut(carbon sequestration alongside its agroforestry), epoxy terrazzo(utilizes post and pre-consumer recycled materials and have little to no off-gassing to form), plaster, glass, and aluminum.
