Located about ten miles from UCLA is William Andrews Clark Memorial Library. This renovation project consisted of the seismic retrofitting of the building's reinforcements and a new entry way that is more accessible. A wider staircase was implemented with a 2-stop hydraulic elevator. Not only that, but high steel glass windows that wrap the whole stairwell allow sufficient amount of daylighting on the lower floors, which help with energy conservation by using natural light.
