A full 300,000 sq. ft., the 17-story and 1,167-bed students housing incorporates a combination of indoor and outdoor amenity spaces that connect students to the surrounding neighborhood. For a comfortable and cozy atmosphere, the student commons contains mass amounts of natural lighting. The lighting is seamlessly integrated into the architecture, plus some decorative luminaires to create a visible sense of warmth. The private garden outside was established in order to encourage students to be outside. The large operable windows not only let the light in but also fresh air. Lastly, the exposed concrete of the building aids in reducing the building's carbon footprint and maintenance costs all while providing loft vibes for the students.
