           About

Located at the intersection of Westwood Boulevard and Strathmore Avenue, Engineering VI is just steps from Ackerman Student Union, the James West Alumni Center and Pauley Pavilion. Engineering VI is a six-story laboratory building supporting multi-disciplinary energy systems research based on green technology. Laboratories provide temperature-stabilized, low-vibration, and low-electromagnetic environments for the development of alternative energy sources, energy conservation, and energy storage systems. A large roof-top photovoltaic array provides a platform for research in solar technology. Engineering VI is built to LEED Gold standards, the second-highest national environmental ranking for green buildings.
