History
The Joseph B. Platt Campus Center was named for the founding president. It houses Jay’s Place (for late night snacks), the student mail room, and various student services including the Office of the Registrar, Office of the Dean of Students, Office of Career Services, Office of Institutional Diversity, Office of Facilities and Maintenance, and Upward Bound.
It was designed by the architectural team of Earl Heitschmidt and Edward Durell Stone and was completed in 1963.
