    1. Josh Miner Climbing Wall

Built in 2004 for Andover's Outdoor Pursuits (OP) program, this 32'x40' climbing wall is named for the former PA physics teacher and dean of admissios who was also the cofounder of the Outward Bound USA program upon which Andover's own Search & Rescue program (now called Outdoor Pursuits) was modeled. The wall has five belay lines, as well as lead anchors on two overhung sections. It features 30 top-rope routes and boulder problems for climbers of all levels, from 5.5/V0 (beginner) to 5.12/V.5 (advanced), professionally set by local gym route setters and students. The wall is located in OP's home base facility, which, among PA's OP enthusiasts, is affectionately known as the Bay Tower Room, since it is located in a storage bay on the Abbot Campus and the wall in the room is towering!
