Collecting data on genetic health, vocalizations, and range of southern ground-hornbill birds in southern Africa, and pioneering management and husbandry techniques for the species. Expanding awareness and education programs, and assisting landowners in making their property suitable hornbill habitat in Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe.
