      1. Saving Wildlife: Great Apes - Grauer's Gorilla Sanctuary and Biomonitoring in Tayna Nature Reserve

         Organizations: GRACE Gorilla Rehabilitation and Conservation Education
         
         Working with communities in the Democratic Republic of Congo to reduce hunting, and explore strategies to reintroduce rehabilitated apes (Grauer's gorillas and Eastern chimpanzees) to the wild. Increasing protection of great apes by local communities, and funding analysis and implementation of additional conservation strategies.
